In the novel Looking for Alaska by the author John Green we can see 3 main moods, mystery, adventurous and tragedy. We can see the mystery represented in different scenes, each time something new happens and you don't know what is going to happen next. For example when Miles and Alaska meet for first time, you can see there is kind of a connection but you don't know what will happen between them. Also there is an adventurous mood. This feeling is shown in the novel later on when Alaska, Chip and Pudge go to make the prank to the Weekday Warriors. It tells step by step what they are doing and you are involved in the action. Trough the use of tragedy and the plot, Green sends the reader a message that the life is like a laberynth but the best way of getting out is enjoying it.
